While The Boys has faced challenges keeping its initial quality, some viewers are finding its focus on superhero stories repetitive. Invincible, on the other hand, stands out because it fully embraces the classic elements of superhero comics and isn’t afraid to lean into its source material.

A continuation of the popular show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, titled Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Sunnydale, was in development. Sarah Michelle Gellar was set to return as the original Buffy, and actress Chloe Armstrong was cast as a new Slayer named Nova. Chloe Zhao directed the pilot episode, written by Lilla and Nora Zuckerman. Despite high expectations for the series, Sarah Michelle Gellar announced on Instagram on March 14th that Hulu had decided not to proceed with the show. She was also an executive producer on the project.
