Paddington in Peru confirms digital release date – and it’s soon
Paddington in Peru has confirmed its digital release date – and there isn’t long to wait.
The much-awaited third installment shattered many records at the British box office after its release in November 2024, following a strong start. It went on to become the highest-grossing UK-made film debut of last year and outperformed its predecessors with the most profitable opening weekend in the Paddington series.
The movie is currently playing in theaters, but it’s set to be released digitally on February 14, Friday. This means that you’ll soon have the chance to enjoy this heartwarming journey right from your living room.
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that starting from February 17th, StudioCanal is bringing together all three heartwarming Paddington movies in stunning 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD formats. This marks the very first 4K Ultra HD release for the beloved 2014 film, Paddington, making it a must-have for any collection!
Under the guidance of director Dougal Wilson, the heartwarming tale, titled “Paddington’s Peruvian Journey“, sees our lovable bear character setting off on an adventure back to his roots, where he finds his Aunt Lucy residing at a peaceful sanctuary for elderly bears.
Accompanied by the Browns, an exhilarating tale unfolds as they are drawn into an unanticipated expedition, traversing the dense Amazon rainforest and scaling the towering peaks of Peru, due to an enigmatic predicament.
Each format will encompass unique elements such as “The Adventure of Paddington in Peru,” the “Retired Bear Excursion,” a tour of “Brown’s Residence,” and the interactive session titled “Getting Ready for Paddington” with the Reverend Mother.
Additionally, the 4K Ultra HD disc offers an exclusive peek into the making of “Paddington” with the featurette titled “The Making of Paddington in Peru.
In addition to the digital version, fans of Paddington Bear will have the opportunity to own a special, limited edition set called “Paddington in Peru: The Adventure Box” starting from February 17. This item can be pre-ordered for £39.99, and it’s only available for purchase at HMV before its release.
In the 4K Ultra HD version of the movie, you’ll find exclusive artwork along with Paddington’s cherished suitcase containing a variety of art prints, posters, and more valuable keepsakes.
Paddington in Peru is in cinemas now, and will be released digitally on February 14.
