Ozzy Osbourne’s true thoughts about Taylor Swift resurface following his death at 76
Ozzy Osbourne’s candid opinions regarding Taylor Swift resurfaced a few days following his passing at the age of 76.
In October 2014, during an episode of The Talk, Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife, disclosed that Black Sabbath’s lead singer had made some comments about the popular 35-year-old singer after an unexpected encounter with her.
Sharon mentioned that her husband greatly admired the singer, even going so far as to compare her to iconic figures like Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn.
The former talk show host recalled a moment when each of us went shopping individually, and coincidentally, we ran into you while I had Ozzy with me. Our daughter Kelly was present as well, and we enjoyed conversations together inside the store.
Later on, she remembered the late rock icon expressing his thoughts about the singer: “Ozzy commented afterwards, ‘At last, among all these emerging, fresh talents, I have found a genuine superstar.’
With the crowd cheerfully clapping along, Sharon went on saying, “He mentioned he’s never come across someone who radiates as you do. Your radiance, it’s one of grace and sheer, authentic skill.

In my professional opinion, the praise for Taylor didn’t end there. Remarkably, she was likened to the timeless elegance of Grace Kelly and the effortless grace of Audrey Hepburn, blended together. A truly unique and captivating combination!
Redirecting the conversation, Sharon then asked Taylor, ‘Now what do you remember about my Ozzy?’
The songwriter remarked, “That was the most delightful thing I’ve ever seen,” then continued, “He wasn’t very chatty.
Then Sharon quipped, ‘He was too busy staring at you.’
The entertainer with blond hair continued by saying, ‘He wasn’t very talkative, while Kelly, me, and you were all carrying on a lively conversation.’
Later, when Kelly shared with me that he’d complimented me so warmly, I was utterly astonished. I felt incredibly flattered, as if it were one of the kindest gestures in existence.
The Midnights artist also noted that she was struck by the Osbournes’ close-knit dynamic.
She mused, “It was heartwarming to witness you all shopping as a family. Such moments are less common as children grow into adults.

‘But it was a Sunday and you guys were just wandering around together. It was nice,’ she added.
In simple terms, just a few weeks before his passing, Ozzy performed onstage for his goodbye concert at Villa Park Stadium, which is located in his hometown of Birmingham, England.
In a touching reunion reminiscent of days gone by, the musician got together once more with his fellow original Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward – after a long absence dating back to 2005. This time, it was not just another rock ‘n’ roll night; it marked a heartfelt goodbye to the countless live performances he had given over the years on stage.
More than 42,000 spectators filled the venue for the “Back to the Beginning” concert, marking Ozzy and Black Sabbath’s triumphant return to their origins, a milestone that took place 56 years after their formation in this very town.
In a statement shared on Tuesday, July 22, Ozzy’s family said he died ‘surrounded by love.’
He is survived by his wife Sharon and his five children — Jessica, Louis, Aimee, Kelly and Jack.
