Ozzy Osbourne’s final wish revealed after rockstar confessed how he wanted to spend the rest of his life just months before his death
He was known for his wild antics as one of the most prolific rockstars in the world.
Yet, mere months before his passing, Ozzy Osbourne expressed his readiness to depart from that phase of his life permanently. He even admitted that his ultimate desire was to spend the remainder of his days in the company of his beloved family.
In a frank conversation with The Guardian last May, Black Sabbath’s lead singer openly declared that he was ready to step away from his stage persona and prioritize spending time with his grandchildren instead.
He conveyed that it’s now important for him to spend quality time with his grandchildren, as he doesn’t wish to pass away in a hotel room. Instead, he desires to spend the remaining years of his life surrounded by his loved ones.
It appears that Ozzy’s heartfelt wish came true, as he was reported to have passed away surrounded by love, with his kids Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis, along with his wife Sharon, by his side on Tuesday.
Approximately two weeks back, the star concluded his last performance, yet it appears that in recent times, Ozzy has chosen to abandon his rockstar life and focus more on being a devoted family man instead.

After spending more than six years on tour, he confided that he feels it’s time to hang up his touring shoes. While he wouldn’t completely rule out the possibility, for now, he’s content with the idea that he might not be hitting the road again. For half a century, he had lived as a nomad, and the thought of packing his bags and boarding the bus no longer appeals to him in the same way it once did.
These days, I’ve given up on smoking marijuana and living the wild rock star life. Instead, I prefer to stay at home most of the time. You won’t find me out socializing, and bars are definitely not my scene; I don’t drink alcohol.
Ozzy’s family includes grandchildren such as Sidney (son of Kelly and Sid Wilson), Pearl Clementine, Andy Rose, Minnie Theodora, and Maple Artemis. The former are the daughters of Jack and his ex-wife Lisa Stelly, while the latter is his current wife Aree Gearhart’s respective child.
Additionally, he serves as a grandpa to his elder daughter Jessica’s kids: Isabelle, Kitty, and Harry, as well as his eldest son Louis’ children: Elijah and Maia.
On Thursdays, Lisa posted a touching series of photos on Instagram, honoring the late rocker who was affectionately known as ‘papa’ by her.
Reflecting on the significant impact he had on their family, Lisa cherishes heartwarming photos showing him grinning broadly with joy as his grandchildren.
‘The world got Ozzy. We got Papa,’ she wrote, calling him ‘One of one’ and ‘Larger than life.’
She remarked, “It’s tough to part ways, yet such a blessing to have had him with us. We’ll forever carry the longing for your presence.
In these backstage shots, Ozzy appeared peacefully at ease, a stark contrast to his energetic and flamboyant performances with Black Sabbath and during his solo career.

With a gentle grin on his face, he proudly held Pearl, who beamed widely, showing all her teeth for the camera, and clutched a bloom tightly in her grasp.
In a delightful photo, the grandfather transformed back into his mischievous character, affectionately known as a trickster. With a jovial expression and an exaggerated open-mouthed grin, he playfully carried his young granddaughter on his shoulders.
In a family photo, he appeared perfectly contented with domestic happiness, reclining with an embrace on his two eldest granddaughters.
In one image, Ozzy flashed a charmingly sidelong smirk alongside his ex-daughter-in-law, who seemed to be cradling her youngest child.
In another picture, the legendary figure of heavy metal music graciously allowed one of his tiny granddaughters to insert her fingers into his mouth.
In an earlier photo, he tenderly babbled at one of his grandchildren, lounging on a bed, just moments before she leaned in for a kiss.

In his first experience as a grandfather, Ozzy was blessed by his eldest daughter, Jessica, whom he had with his first wife Thelma Riley.
Jessica has been remarkably quiet and has kept a low profile since her father passed away.
Regardless of not being featured on the TV series “The Osbournes”, she was referenced in the episode ‘Smells Like Teen Spirits’. During this episode, it was mentioned that she had given birth to a daughter, which came as news to Ozzy.
Back in 2002, during one of my shows, I was informed by the team that my dear daughter’s husband, Ben, would reach out to me once their little bundle of joy made its grand entrance into the world.
A person out of view from the camera questioned Ozzy about whether the child was his daughter, to which Ozzy nodded in agreement. Later, Ozzy expressed his belief that the baby would actually be a son.
In the following sequence, we shifted to another scene, and it was there that Ozzy shared the news about the birth of his first grandchild, who he affectionately called Isabelle.
When one of Kelly, his daughter’s friend, jokingly referred to him as a “young grandfather,” he responded sharply by saying, “Please don’t use those terms.
