Ozzy Osbourne is seen just two days before his death in a final heartwarming video having breakfast with his family

In the heartwarming video posted only two days prior to his passing at 76, Ozzy Osbourne was captured enjoying time with his loved ones.

On Tuesday, the legendary musician passed away a few weeks following his last performance with Black Sabbath, and his family announced this unfortunate event in a statement.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share an insightful piece of news. Just two days prior to Ozzy’s passing, his daughter, Kelly Osbourne, aged 40, graciously shared a video with her fans on Instagram Stories. This touching moment took place on July 20th.

In the video, Ozzy could be seen seated at a kitchen table, engrossed in his tablet, as he spent quality time with his youngest child and her two-year-old boy named Sidney.

The three of them sat down for a shared breakfast, each perusing their respective newspapers, with the Daily Mail being conspicuously displayed across the table.

Kelly greeted: “Good morning”, followed by a pan to her father, who was donning a pair of headphones, as she sweetly requested, “Daddy, can you say good morning too?

Ozzy leaned forward and replied, ‘Good morning’. 

On Tuesday, Ozzy sadly passed away, only a few weeks after he delivered a farewell concert alongside his band in Villa Park, Birmingham.

In a heartfelt announcement, the Osbourne family shares their profound sorrow: ‘This morning, we lost an irreplaceable piece of our hearts – our cherished Ozzy Osbourne.’

‘At the moment, Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis are together, enveloped in love. Kindly grant us space for our family during this private time.’

Born as John Michael Osbourne in Birmingham in 1948, Ozzy left education at the tender age of 15.

Following a two-month sentence in prison due to burglary charges, he chose to channel his passion for music. By 1970, Black Sabbath had garnered a massive fanbase both in the United States and the United Kingdom upon the debut of their first studio album.

In 1978, Ozzy left the band, and four years after that, he divorced his first wife, Thelma Mayfair, with whom he shared two kids. This separation occurred while Ozzy was grappling with persistent issues related to substance abuse.

Afterward, he remarried Sharon Osbourne, who played a crucial role in his transformation into a flourishing solo artist, and they had three children together.

Ozzy gained a whole new audience of fans with the family’s reality TV show The Osbournes in 2001.

He is survived by his wife Sharon and his five children, Jessica, Louis, Aimee, Kelly and Jack.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must share some personal insights about a musical icon who’s touched many lives – Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath. Since 2003, he’s been bravely battling Parkinson’s disease. Over the past five years alone, he’s undergone an impressive seven surgical procedures, one of which was a fourth spinal surgery, performed last September in 2023. His resilience and spirit continue to inspire us all.

Over two decades past, his struggle with health started in the year 2003, when he suffered a fall from a quad bike that resulted in a broken neck. This unfortunate incident necessitated intensive spinal surgery, and metal rods were implanted within his spine for support.

In 2003, a British musician received a diagnosis for a relatively light case of Parkinson’s disease. Yet it wasn’t until 2020 that he chose to make this health issue public knowledge.

Instead, Ozzy had mentioned earlier that the main challenges he faced stemmed from a fall he took in 2019, resulting in the displacement of metal rods in his spine.

The rods had been put there following a quad bike accident at his Buckinghamshire home in 2003.

In an interview with Rolling Stone UK, he shared that the second operation took a tragic turn, nearly rendering him incapable of movement.

I assumed I would be fully operational following the second and third procedures, but the fourth one left a metal rod in my spine.

In their examination, they discovered a growth within one of the vertebrae, which necessitated its complete removal as well. It’s really challenging, friend, and my sense of balance has been significantly affected.

Due to his illness, he had to cancel several concert dates so he could recuperate. This also meant pushing back the UK and European segments of his No More Tours 2 tour.

Prior to his last live show scheduled for July 2025, a charity event in Birmingham, Ozzy shared some insights about his current health and mental condition.

On SiriusXM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard, he expressed: “Even though I often talk about my difficulties walking and other limitations, during the holiday season, I found myself reflecting on this – despite all my complaints, I’m still here, alive.

He went on to say, ‘Although I complain about my limited mobility, I see others who have accomplished far less than I have, and unfortunately, they didn’t survive.’

‘I’m trying to get back on my feet.’

Host Billy Morrison added: ‘Ozzy, you are so much better than you were just a year ago.’

He responded: ‘Indeed, recovery is taking a long time. That surgeon…well, he’s challenging. Adding to that, I’ve been dealing with Parkinson’s disease. When I wake up in the morning, I have to be careful to steady myself before getting up. But don’t get me wrong, despite these challenges, I’m not exactly ‘dead’, as you put it. I’m still very much engaged and active.’

I am thrilled to report that he is doing exceptionally well.
