Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath Singer and Heavy Metal Icon, Dies at 76
Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of the rock band Black Sabbath, died Tuesday at the age of 76.
With deeper sorrow than any words can express, it is regrettably announced that Ozzy Osbourne, our cherished one, has left us this morning. His family made the statement on X, sharing that he was in the company of his loved ones. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult time as we grieve together.
In 2020, Osbourne made his Parkinson’s diagnosis public, and he performed a final show only a few weeks prior.
Ozzy Osbourne is known for being a pioneer in creating heavy metal music alongside Black Sabbath, debuting their self-titled album in 1970. Later on, he became famous for appearing in the popular MTV reality series “The Osbournes,” which premiered in 2002 and showcased his daily life with his wife and two of their children (Ozzy and his spouse have another child, Aimee, who chose not to participate in the show).
