Owen Wilson’s new Apple TV+ show casts The Mandalorian star

As a die-hard fan of both Owen Wilson and Timothy Olyphant, I can hardly contain my excitement with the latest news about their upcoming Apple TV+ project! The addition of Olyphant to the cast of this yet-to-be-titled golf comedy series is simply icing on the cake.

Timothy Olyphant from “The Mandalorian” has been added as a new cast member to Owen Wilson’s upcoming Apple TV+ show.

In March, it was revealed that the show features Wilson as Pryce Cahill, a golfer who once held professional status but had his career cut short about twenty years ago.

The untitled Apple TV+ comedy series appears to be moving forward, as Variety reports that actor Tim Olyphant, known for his role as Cobb Vanth in The Mandalorian, is now part of the cast.

In a sports comedy, Tim Olyphant, known for portraying Raylan Givens on FX’s shows Justified and its spin-off Justified: City Primeval, will take on the role of Clark. His character is depicted as a previously successful golf pro who used to tour with Pryce.

The synopsis for the series, which will consist of 10 episodes, reads: “Pryce Cahill [is] an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After he gets fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife walks out on him, Pryce hedges his bets entirely on a troubled, 17-year-old golf phenom (Insidious: The Red Door‘s Peter Dager).”

Although the unnamed golf series has yet to make its debut on the screen, you’ll be able to spot Wilson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+, where he portrays the character Mobius M Mobius in the series Loki.

In the second season of the series, the character displayed an unprecedented aspect, immersed in rage, and Director Dan Deleeuw shared insights about eliciting such feelings from Wilson with Digital Spy exclusively.

“When it comes to Owen, there’s a certain dynamic, isn’t there? When working with various performers, each responds differently to direction. With Owen, though, I believe the key is more about enthusiasm.”

“I’m going to slightly stimulate him, kick-start his enthusiasm, and energize him. Once he’s charged up, I’ll guide him to where we need him to reach.”

Loki seasons 1-2 are streaming on Disney+.
