Owen Wilson looks downcast as he assesses the aftermath of the brutal LA wildfires close to his Pacific Palisades home
On a gloomy Thursday, Owen Wilson appeared somber as he ventured outside to survey the remnants left by the Los Angeles wildfires.
The actor known for “Marley & Me,” aged 56, is among numerous celebrities who possess properties in Pacific Palisades – a locale nestled between the Santa Monica mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
Owen was spotted in public, donning a stylish blue-green checkered coat along with beige trousers, and accessorizing with a protective face mask.
The star was seen peering over a fence, then strolling into the area that had been damaged, as rescue operations got underway.
Many famous people are compelled to abandon their luxurious mansions along the coast of Los Angeles due to three fierce wildfires that could potentially reduce the city to ashes.
Approximately 30,000 locals were forced to leave their houses due to a huge wildfire that swept through the star-studded neighborhood of Pacific Palisades. The blaze consumed close to 3,000 acres and left many houses in ruins.
Another fire, known as the Eaton Fire, ignited approximately 30 miles inland in Altadena, close to Pasadena. In just a few hours, it expanded from 200 acres to an area of 1,000 acres, as reported by Cal Fire.
In addition, a fire dubbed the Hurst Fire flared up in Sylmar, situated within the San Fernando Valley northwest of Los Angeles. This development led to the evacuation of certain local residents.
Firefighters persistently fight back against the relentless wildfires spreading through the outskirts of Los Angeles, leaving a trail of destroyed structures in their wake and causing frantic evacuations due to wind speeds similar to those seen in hurricanes. These winds have significantly accelerated the growth of the fires.
Owen has three children: Ford (aged 14), whom he shares with his former girlfriend Jade Duell; Finn (aged 11) with Caroline Lindqvist, a previous personal trainer; and Lyla with Varunie Vongsvirates, someone he previously dated.
Last year, Owen was spotted attending a soccer match in Los Angeles alongside his boys, Ford and Finn, in an unusual public appearance.
On a particular day, an actor who hails from Dallas and his boys attended the match between LA Football Club and New York Red Bulls at BMO Stadium.

In an interview with Esquire in August 2021, the star mentioned that he resides with both his sons and they all coexist harmoniously, following a routine of a lone parent.
Approximately two months after the event, Vongsvirates shared with DailyMail.com that Owen had never encountered nor maintained any communication with his daughter.
‘He has never met her unfortunately,’ Vongsvirates said in an October 11, 2021 interview.
For about five years, Varunie and Owen went out together informally, but eventually parted ways. In 2018, a paternity test established that he was indeed the father.
She gave birth to their little girl on October 9, 2018 without Owen by her side.
