The OWCS Midseason Championship Last Chance Qualifier takes place from July 17th to 19th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Each day’s action starts at 2 p.m. local time. This event consists of a two-day group stage followed by an elimination playoff bracket. The Overwatch 2 team that emerges victorious from this LCQ will receive the majority of the $100,000 USD prize money and the last ticket to the OWCS Midseason Championship 2025. This upcoming tournament boasts a prize pool of an impressive $1,050,000 USD.
As per Blizzard Entertainment’s statement, the ongoing Lower Contender Qualifier (LCQ) for Overwatch 2 is open to all competing teams. However, these teams must adhere to the two-import rule and specify one Overwatch Contenders Series (OWCS) region, as outlined in the official rulebook. For teams already engaged in the competition circuit, the LCQ permits them to secure their spot using their Stage 2 roster only.
Teams with interest still have until July 5th to register for the esports event. They can accomplish this by visiting the FACEIT site.
