“Vendetta expands her conquest into the Stadium.”
Okay, so Overwatch Season 1 is officially live! It’s not just the main game getting updates either – Stadium mode has seen a ton of changes too. They really reworked Ashe, and Vendetta is now a playable hero in Stadium. I’ve been checking out the patch notes from February 10th to see everything that’s new.
Overwatch Stadium patch notes
Vendetta has joined the Overwatch Stadium lineup, bringing a fresh set of abilities, weapons, and items designed for survival. At the same time, Ashe has undergone a major update to her powers. Several of her previous abilities – including Head Honcho, Incendiary Rounds, and others – have been removed, along with her Tripod, Ironsights, and Sidewinder items. But don’t worry, these have been replaced with new options, including one item that was previously a hero ability.

The Stadium update also brings changes to many heroes, including D.Va, Doomfist, Orisa, Reinhardt, Sigma, Winston, Freja, Genji, Reaper, Sojourn, Lucio, Mercy, Moira, and Zenyatta. In addition, several general items have been adjusted to make underused survival tools more appealing and to give players more options for countering different strategies. Some of the least popular items have been completely reworked.
Stadium now offers a ‘hero build’ feature to help players easily jump into the game mode. Blizzard Entertainment explains that these builds are suggested based on regularly updated stats, like which heroes are winning and being chosen most often.
Tanks heroes
Damage heroes
Support heroes
General items and gadget updates
Overwatch’s latest retail update includes significant hero changes – some are stronger, others weaker, and all have been tweaked. Plus, everyone can now see their teammates’ health, even through walls – this feature isn’t limited to support characters anymore.
