Overwatch Season 1 patch notes 2026
Okay, so the big news for Overwatch Season 1, the ‘Reign of Talon’ update, is that we’re getting five new heroes! They’re Mizuki, Emre, Domina, Anran, and this is awesome – Jetpack Cat! Plus, they’re not just adding heroes, they’re also giving all the heroes new subroles, which should really shake things up. I’m excited to see how these changes impact gameplay!
Overwatch Season 1 features a ton of new skins! Players can unlock the Celestial Guardian Mercy mythic hero skin and the Juno’s Star Shooter mythic weapon skin. A mythic hero skin for Mei will be added in an update coming mid-season.
Overwatch Season 1 Battle Pass and shop skins
The new Overwatch Season 1 also features a range of skins available through the Battle Pass and in the shop. The Battle Pass includes skins for Tracer, Genji, Sojourn, Vendetta, Emre, Moira, and Mauga. Coming to the shop are the Loverwatch Hazard and Loverwatch Soldier: 76 skins, alongside fresh cosmetics for Kiriko, Domina, Ana, Anran, Mizuki, Juno, Symmetra, and Hanzo.
Blizzard Entertainment also gave a sneak peek at several new looks for their characters, including Void Venture, Void Illari, and Void Sigma, as well as Rainy Day versions of Roadhog and D.Va. They also showed off Stadium All-Star Reinhardt, Stadium Elite Sigma, and Stadium Elite Tracer.
More Overwatch Season 1 updates
Season 1 will also bring several updates, including the Conquest meta event, a fresh start to ranked play, and new Crimson Wolf weapons for Domina, Junkrat, Mercy, Reaper, and Vendetta. Vendetta will also be playable in the Stadium mode, and players will be able to customize Stadium heroes with a new builder feature. We’re also improving the game’s interface and overall experience, plus there’s a fun collaboration with Hello Kitty!
