Domina is a new tank hero in Overwatch, and it can be challenging to play against her when you first encounter her. Overwatch Domina counters

If you’re playing as Reaper in Overwatch and facing Domina, he’s a strong counterpick. Reaper excels at quickly eliminating her at close range. He can also sneak around the enemy team (flank) and create chaos, drawing attention away from your teammates – and even distracting Domina herself.

Reaper thrives on aggressive play because he can quickly recover health with his abilities and passive. He can use Wraith Form and Shadow Step to either escape danger or dive into battles with temporary invulnerability.

When fighting Domina, pay attention to where you are. Stay away from walls and tight spaces, because her Sonic Repulsors can knock you back and stun you if you collide with something.

How to counter Domina’s shield

When facing Domina in Overwatch, Venture is a good pick because their drill can throw off the enemy’s positioning. Other options include Sombra, Winston, and Moira, which can bypass the shield and harass the backline. Mei is also effective, as her Ice Wall can separate Domina from her team, or vice versa.

You can also play as Domina while practicing against her. This is a great way to learn how she works and predict what she’ll do. For instance, Domina’s shield takes a while to recharge – 14 seconds, in fact. Knowing this, and understanding the cooldowns of other characters, can give you a real advantage in a match.
