I’m so excited – Loverwatch is happening again in Overwatch! From February 13th to March 1st, you can dive into the Love Never Dies dating sim, and this time you can try to win the hearts of Genji, Mercy, or Hanzo. I’m already planning my playthrough, and I’m starting with a guide to help me navigate the Genji romance route!

If you want to build a relationship with Genji, listen to the hints from Cupid Hanzo during the game. Basically, make Genji your priority and pay attention to what he’s feeling. Offer him encouragement whenever possible. When you get to the comedy club, pick Genji and follow the conversation until it’s your turn to perform. Make sure your joke is about him! The audience might not love it, but Genji will really appreciate the gesture.

For your second date, Genji recommends dinner at Cafe Azur in Monaco. When you meet him, compliment his outfit. If he asks how you got to Monaco, mention you had time to play some games, showing him you remembered his earlier comment about enjoying video games.

Next, be sure to order some food! Genji really loves Rikimaru Ramen – you can even find the recipe in the official Overwatch cookbook. He also has a surprising favorite: dinosaur nuggets, which are available on the kids’ menu.

Next, you’ll walk alongside Genji, and he’ll share stories about his life. You’ll then meet Zenyatta, whom Genji will introduce to you. When Genji asks a thoughtful question about self-discovery, be sure to answer carefully.

Genji later expresses gratitude for your help in remembering his true self, and shares that he cherishes your company. Once you’ve accepted either a romantic relationship or a close friendship with him, he removes his mask, finally revealing his appearance.
