Choose your champion: Talon or Overwatch? Here’s a breakdown of the new Conquest event in Overwatch.
Overwatch Season 1 has begun! Along with the new heroes Jetpack Cat, Anran, Domina, Mizuki, and Emre, this season introduces subroles, which change how heroes play. You can try everything out during the Overwatch Conquest event, completing challenges to earn rewards like 94 loot boxes, nine new voice lines, and legendary skins!
Overwatch Conquest event
From February 10th to March 16th, Overwatch is hosting a special limited-time event called Conquest. For five weeks, players will participate in a battle between two factions: Overwatch and Talon. Each week, you’ll pick a side and complete challenges to earn rewards through a weekly pass. Once you finish a pass, you can switch to the other faction and do their challenges, or stay with your original side and unlock even more rewards with a prestige pass.
Blizzard Entertainment announced that at the end of every week, they’ll count up all completed challenges for each side to determine a worldwide weekly winner. Every challenge you finish contributes to your faction’s success!
Each week, the winning faction will receive a special reward. At the conclusion of the Overwatch Conquest event, a global winner will be announced. All players can earn a legendary skin for Echo – either Overwatch or Talon themed – and a bonus in-game item.

Overwatch Year of the Horse event
The Overwatch Conquest competition starts on February 10th. Soon after, from February 13th to March 2nd, players can enjoy the Year of the Horse event! This event brings back the popular Roadhog’s Catch-a-mari game mode and offers special rewards to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
This new game mode has a unique element to it. Blizzard hasn’t shared exactly what that is yet, but we’ll post an update in our Overwatch section as soon as we learn more.
