The much-anticipated Overwatch Classic Moth Meta event has begun! Here’s a breakdown of all you need to know: heroes involved, tasks, and incentives!
Overwatch Classic Moth Meta event
The Moth Meta event is an integral part of Overwatch Classic and will take place from February 4th to the 18th. This exciting event offers a six-versus-six (6v6) gameplay mode, ten challenges to conquer, and various in-game prizes such as the Pachimercy player icon, Moth player title, First Aid Kit souvenir, and a significant amount of Battle Pass XP.
Overwatch Classic Moth Meta explained
In the original Overwatch, Mercy’s “Moth Meta” moniker harks back to a turbulent period. During this time, her swift Resurrect ability significantly shaped team battles. Now, for a brief spell, that gameplay style has returned, bringing along elements such as Hanzo’s Scatter Arrow, Symmetra’s Shield Generator, and DPS Doomfist to the fray!

From this upcoming Overwatch Classic event, you stand to gain 30,000 Battle Pass Experience points. Add that to the 25,000 Battle Pass XP from the Overwatch 2 Valentine’s Day 2025 event, and you’ve got a total of 55,000 Battle Pass XP! If you haven’t finished the Season 14 Battle Pass yet, this could be an excellent opportunity to do so.
