Overwatch Champions Series in China gets crowdfunding with Ember Juno skin
Players now have an opportunity to acquire fresh Juno cosmetics by spending 2,500 Overwatch Coins, which will also contribute to the Champions Clash prize pool.
Kickstarting the year, the inaugural live event for the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) is set to begin towards the end of this month! In preparation for the OWCS 2025 Champions Clash tournament, Blizzard has unveiled an opportunity for fans: they can boost the prize pool by purchasing the Ember Juno OWCS Crowdfunding Bundle. Here’s what you need to know.
OWCS Ember Juno skin in Overwatch 2
On April 1, the Ember Juno OWCS Crowdfunding Package became available in the Overwatch 2 store for purchase with 2,500 Overwatch Coins, which equates to approximately $25 USD.
According to an official announcement, the Ember Juno package can be obtained in-game from April 1st through April 22nd. It’s important to note that this offer represents a 25% share of Blizzard’s net earnings after accounting for platform fees and applicable taxes.
As a fan myself, I’d be thrilled to share that by grabbing this exclusive bundle, you can collect the legendary Juno skin, the vibrant Game Start emote, the eye-catching Golden Token weapon charm, the 2025 Champions Clash name card, an Ember Juno player icon, and the stunning Ember Fan spray for your in-game collection. OWCS China 2025: Champions Clash awaits!
The Champions Clash tournament is set to occur from April 18th to the 20th. As previously mentioned, this event will be hosted live in China. More precisely, the Hangzhou Esports Center will serve as the location. In this arena, eight teams hailing from the OWCS Asia, China, North America (NA), and the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) regions will engage in fierce competition. This tournament will employ a double-elimination bracket system. Ultimately, only one Overwatch 2 team will emerge victorious during the OWCS 2025 Stage 1!
Regarding further encounters, the upper-bracket quarterfinals will pit Team Falcons against Al Qadsiah, while Virtus.pro will go up against a yet-to-be-decided Chinese team. The matchups between NTMR and another Chinese squad, as well as Crazy Raccoon versus Spacestation Gaming, are also on the schedule.
Through a regional OWCS 2025 Stage 1 Playoffs tournament, which takes place from April 4 to April 6, the mentioned Chinese teams will be decided.
