Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled its partnership with Street Fighter for Overwatch 2! This exciting news was revealed on May 9, coinciding with the start of Evo Japan 2025. Unlike any previous collaborations for Overwatch 2, this is the first time a video game franchise outside of Blizzard’s own collection will be featured. Here are the specifics about the upcoming Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 collaboration.

In the latest partnership, characters from the hero shooter will don costumes inspired by legendary figures from the fighting game series. For instance, Overwatch 2’s Juno takes on the appearance of Chun-Li from Street Fighter 6, Hanzo becomes Ryu, Kiriko transforms into Juri, Widowmaker is Cammy, Soldier: 76 adopts the look of Guile, Zenyatta dresses as Dhalsim, Sigma assumes the role of M. Bison, and Winston morphs into Blanka in this exciting crossover event.

Overwatch x Street Fighter collab revealed!

Blizzard has shared a new video that showcases these skins too. In this clip, we witness a truck approaching an amusement center. Upon closer inspection, we find ourselves peering into one of the arcade machines where the character selection screen appears before Juno selects Chun-Li and Widowmaker chooses Cammy. They then engage in a fight inside the game.

As Ryu Hanzo, I stride in before we leap into the fray on the rooftops. Since Juno can soar overhead, I scale walls, and Widowmaker can swiftly ascend with her grappling hook, our skills shine in the following sequence. In the end, it’s a tough loss for me as Ryu Hanzo.

As a fresh obstacle arises, none other than Kiriko takes on Juri’s role! Additionally, Soldier: 76 is cast as Guile, Winston as Blanka, Zenyatta as Dhalsim, and Sigma as M. Bison. In the final moments of the Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 collaboration trailer, Hanzo can be seen trying to make baskets using Ryu’s techniques.
