On September 17th, the collaboration between Overwatch 2 and WoW is set to debut, and considering our own experiences with update rollouts for Overwatch 2, it seems reasonable to expect that this event will coincide with the weekly shop refresh.

Overwatch 2 x World of Warcraft explained
To highlight, this collaboration commemorates 20 years of World of Warcraft. It features skins modeled after characters such as Sylvanas Windrunner, the Lich King, Thrall, and Magni Bronzebeard. Previews were given for Reinhardt’s Lich King skin and Widowmaker’s Sylvanas skin last month.
In the Season 12 launch trailer, Reinhardt put down Frostmourne on the Antarctic Peninsula map. Meanwhile, the official Overwatch 2 account on X gave players a first look at the artwork for the Widowmaker Sylvanas skin.
