This update for Stadium Season 17 also includes fresh All-Star rewards, custom game modes, along with additional example builds.
Initially planned for Season 17, the unranked Stadium map has been postponed by Blizzard Entertainment until Season 18, as announced on June 18.
Overwatch 2 Stadium Season 18

- London map
- Payload Race game mode

Previously, Blizzard Entertainment had announced Sojourn, Winston, and Brigitte as the characters for Overwatch 2’s Stadium Season 18. But, on June 18th, the developers unexpectedly disclosed that Pharah would be taking Sojourn’s place instead.
The post mentioned that the release of the hero orders has been moved. In Season 18, Pharah, Winston, and Brigitte will make their debut on the Stadium roster, introducing a fresh gameplay style. However, Sojourn requires some fine-tuning, so she’ll be introduced in Season 19. We may use a future Weekly Recall to explain the process of adding Sojourn to the Stadium in detail.
Updates for Season 18 will bring about the introduction of Route 66 and London maps, the Payload Race game mode, Stadium Draft mode, new All-Star rewards, endorsements, the unranked Overwatch 2 Stadium mode, crossplay and backfill features, and the addition of Tracer in the mid-season update.

Regarding the upcoming Season 19 of Overwatch 2, additional characters are set to join the game. It remains to be seen if these newcomers resemble Baptiste, Echo, Hanzo, Doomfist, and Roadhog as depicted in the roadmap’s artwork. In addition to these additions, we can expect a Chinese-themed map, a Stadium Trials feature, and the introduction of consumables and active items.
