The latest update for Overwatch 2 Season 19 includes significant changes: D.Va is getting stronger, Genji is being toned down, and Lifeweaver’s appearance and weapon have been updated.
Overwatch 2 Season 19 has received a mid-season update! This update includes balance adjustments for the standard 6v6 game mode, as well as other important changes to the game. Here’s a complete look at the patch notes and details.
Overwatch 2 Season 19 mid-season patch notes
This update includes changes to several heroes in the 5v5 game mode, specifically D.Va, Hazard, Orisa, Ramattra, Wrecking Ball, Zarya, Ashe, Cassidy, Echo, Genji, Mei, Sojourn, Sombra, Tracer, Brigitte, Juno, Kiriko, and Lifeweaver. Blizzard’s goal is to maintain balance between 5v5 and the classic 6v6 game modes by making adjustments to heroes who are significantly stronger or weaker than others, with a particular focus on balancing tanks.

Overwatch 2 Season 19 mid-season patch: Tanks
Several tanks are receiving balance adjustments, including D.Va, Hazard, Orisa, Ramattra, Wrecking Ball, and Zarya. D.Va is getting a significant boost to her abilities; her Extended Boosters perk will now cause her Boosters to deal 50% more damage, making her more powerful in quick bursts. Ramattra is also becoming more durable with increased health and improvements to his Relentless Form perk, helping him survive longer in battle.

Overwatch 2 patch notes November 11: DPS heroes
Okay, so the latest patch has some changes to a bunch of damage heroes – Ashe, Cassidy, Echo, Genji, Mei, Sojourn, Sombra, and Tracer. As a Genji player, I’m a little bummed to hear they’re making his Shurikens smaller, but hopefully it won’t be too bad! On the bright side, Ashe is getting a nice buff to her scoped shots – they’ll be effective at a longer range now. And if you’re a Sombra main like me, you’ll want to check out the updates to her perks, Encrypted Upload and Healthy Hacker. They’ve tweaked those a bit.

The latest adjustments also affect Brigitte, Junker Queen, Kiriko, and Lifeweaver. Lifeweaver received updates to his character model and how easily he’s hit, along with faster weapon reloading when not in use and quicker transitions between healing and attacking. Kiriko’s ultimate ability, Kitsune Rush, now requires 8% more energy to use.
Overwatch 2 patch notes today
As a huge Overwatch 2 player, I’m really excited about the latest updates! They’re bringing back the classic 6v6 gameplay, which is awesome, and also adding the Stadium game mode. Plus, right now there’s a limited-time event called Spirit Showdown that’s a ton of fun!
