Blizzard announced that Overwatch 2’s Season 19 will be called “Haunted Masquerade!” This season is more than just a new title – heroes will wear masks that alter their abilities. Here’s a breakdown of the new Haunted Masquerade game mode and everything else players can look forward to in Season 19.

Overwatch 2 Haunted Masquerade
Haunted Masquerade is a new Halloween game mode where teams use special masks based on their allies’ heroes. Wearing a mask gives you temporary powers based on that hero, potentially changing the course of a fight. You can equip a mask of any hero on your team to gain their unique abilities.
Overwatch 2’s masks offer unique advantages when used with certain heroes, giving lore enthusiasts a fun puzzle to solve! For example, players might find interesting combinations with Reinhardt and Brigitte, Mei and Juno, Roadhog and Junkrat, or Reaper and Moira, as hinted at in the season’s artwork and plans.
The announcement also promises hidden surprises to discover within the game’s maps.
Okay, so listen up! You gotta be smart about what Gadgets you buy – everything costs something in this game. Luckily, they come in different rarities – Common, Rare, and Epic – so you can find one that fits your playstyle and maybe even clutch a win when things get tough. Choosing the right Gadget could seriously be a lifesaver!
