Overwatch 2 Season 17 mythic skin

In the upcoming Season 17 of Overwatch 2, D.Va will receive a mythic skin themed around the Siberian tiger, which is the national emblem of South Korea. At the same time, Reaper is set to receive the season’s new mythic weapon skin. Here are some sneak peeks of these exciting cosmetic additions!

Overwatch 2 Aqua

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that starting from Season 17, I’ll have the opportunity to go head-to-head with a fresh character named Aqua during a special event. From what we’ve gathered so far, Aqua is a hero hailing from China, and his powers revolve around water. However, you’ll officially meet him in Season 18. To give you a sneak peek, here’s the artwork of Hero 44 – keep an eye out for the phrase “flowing clouds, flowing water” at the top-right corner. It’s written in Chinese, symbolizing the fluidity of both Aqua and the element he wields.

New Overwatch 2 map: Aatlis

In Overwatch 2’s Season 17, a fresh Flashpoint map named Aatlis is introduced. If you look carefully at the Numbani map’s airport area, you might spot a teaser poster for it.

Overwatch 2 map voting

Regarding maps, Season 17 brings in a fresh option where teams can pick their favorite maps prior to starting a game, thanks to the newly introduced map voting system. This feature provides an extra strategic depth, enhancing the hero ban phase.

Overwatch 2 Season 17 patch notes

As a gamer, here’s my take: In terms of what’s coming up in Overwatch 2, they’re beefing up the damage role’s passive healing reduction from 25% to 30%. They’ve also made Bastion smaller by 10% to boost his survivability. When it comes to Junker Queen, her Commanding Shout will prioritize Overhealth for allies instead. There are also some minor hero balance adjustments and enhancements to abilities like Pharah’s Helix Shields and Lifeweaver’s Cleansing Grasp in the works.
