Overwatch 2 Season 12 patch notes: Juno lands, Lifeweaver updates, and more
As a seasoned Overwatch player with years of gaming under my belt, I must say that these updates for Season 12 have certainly caught my attention! The tweaks to Mercy’s Caduceus Staff and Biotic Grasp make her feel more powerful and responsive on the battlefield, which is always a welcome change.

Overwatch 2 has shared the details of its Season 12 update! The release notes for August 20 include the introduction of a new character named Juno, two fresh Clash game mode maps, improvements to hero mastery, and much more. Here’s everything you need to know.

- Hero updates to D.Va, Orisa, Zarya, Echo, Hanzo, Junkrat, Sojourn, Sombra, Torbjorn, Illari, Juno, Kiriko, Lifeweaver, Mercy, Moira, and Lucio
- Map updates to Flashpoint and Push
- Juno arrives in Overwatch 2 as a support hero
- Clash is a new core game mode
- Quick Play and Competitive Play avaliable
- Hanaoka and Throne of Anubis maps avaliable
- Hero Mastery updates
- Single-player course for Pharah

As a long-time fan of Overwatch, I can’t help but feel exhilarated as I go through the hero updates for Season 12, freshly released by Blizzard. Not only do these changes promise an invigorating gaming experience, but also the minor bug fixes on characters like Ashe, Illari, and Juno make me confident that the game will run smoother than ever. I can hardly wait to dive back into the world of Overwatch and embark on new adventures with my favorite heroes!
