Overwatch 2 hotfix: Tanks nerfs and buffs
Today’s Overwatch 2 update brings modifications to several tank heroes: Mauga, Roadhog, Winston, and Zarya. One significant adjustment is that Mauga’s Cardiac Overdrive no longer offers damage reduction for his teammates. Instead, this ability now only reduces his own damage intake. Additionally, the cost of his Cage Fight ultimate has increased, and its barrier health has been decreased. Furthermore, the overhealth conversion rate in his Berserker passive has been reduced to 40% from 50%. In contrast, Roadhog receives a couple of boosts, while Winston and Zarya experience nerfs.
Overwatch 2 patch notes: DPS buff, nerfs, and balance changes
Concerning the alterations to our heroic characters, Cassidy, Echo, Soldier: 76, Sojourn, and Widowmaker are the ones affected. Cassidy experiences slight enhancements in both his primary and secondary fire. Echo’s basic health and shield health receive adjustments. Subsequently, Sojourn’s Power Slide takes a hit with some nerfs applied. Soldier: 76 now has a larger projectile size for his primary fire. Lastly, Widowmaker gets an increase in her base health.
Support buffs and nerfs go to Ana and Juno
This Overwatch 2 hotfix only includes adjustments for Ana and Juno, but they are nerfs instead of buffs. The cooling down time for Ana’s Biotic Grenade has been extended in both non-6v6 and 6v6 game modes. Additionally, the length of her self-Nano Boost through her Perk has been reduced. On the other hand, Juno’s ultimate ability will now cost more to use.
Speaking of exciting new features in the game, right now you can enjoy the temporary game mode called Overwatch Classic GOATS. This runs until April 8th. Additionally, during this period, you have a chance to participate in various Overwatch Classic GOATS event challenges and gather some charming rewards for yourself.
