Overwatch 2 Mei’s Snowball Offensive: How to win
Here are Xpsp’s strategies for winning in Mei’s Snowball Offensive. When the game starts, each player immediately gets one snowball, so don’t throw it away while still in the starting area! Once you leave, start looking for other players and aim carefully – a single snowball hit will eliminate them. To get more snowballs, find a snow pile and right-click to pick one up.
Being unaware of your surroundings can leave you open to attack from enemy Meis who are ready to freeze you. Always check your surroundings and use Ice Wall to shield yourself. You can also use it to protect your teammates!
You can see if a teammate is carrying a snowball by looking for a snowflake icon above their head. If they have a snowball, they can instantly defeat an enemy. If there’s no snowflake, they’re currently reloading.
You can use Ice Wall to interrupt enemies when they’re reloading – just place it in front of them while they’re trying to reload, giving you the chance to reload instead. For Mei’s Cryo-Freeze, try using it to trick enemies into wasting their snowballs. And remember to use her Flurry ultimate for unlimited ammo in this game mode.
A helpful tip for playing Mei’s Snowball Offensive is to move quietly by crouching – this helps you sneak up on opponents. Otherwise, you’ll easily reveal your location. Try flanking – sneaking around behind enemies who are focused on what’s in front of them – or getting the high ground for a better advantage.
