
As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that this latest announcement from Blizzard has me more than just a little excited! Overwatch 2 joining Xbox Game Pass and offering exclusive benefits is a move straight out of the gaming playbook – give the people what they want, when they want it, and make it worth their while.
Overwatch 2 will now be available on Xbox Game Pass as confirmed by Blizzard, offering a stack of unique perks for players who connect their active Xbox Game Pass account with their Battle.net account.
Connecting your accounts prior to November 11th grants you an assortment of Overwatch 2 cosmetics upon login, which includes Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtleship D.Va, Cyberdragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Bee Mercy, and Cleric Lifeweaver.
You’ll also be given 30 Mythic Prisms as a one-time bonus, available for purchasing Mythic Shop cosmetics and upgrades. Select Overwatch 2 Shop cosmetics from the ast three seasons will also be available as an Xbox Game Pass bonus.
Additionally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive a 10% bonus in experience points. You’ll have the chance to collect these rewards when Overwatch 2 is added to the Xbox Game Pass collection later today. Don’t forget to connect your account by November 11th.
Beginning today, there’s a cross-over event between Overwatch 2 and World of Warcraft, allowing players to side with either the Horde or the Alliance. The rewards are themed after the enchanting world of Azeroth, inspired by both games.
