Overwatch 2 extends Junkenstein’s Lab game mode and Halloween event
As a seasoned Overwatch 2 player with countless hours spent battling it out in the digital battlefield, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the extension of Junkenstein’s Laboratory game mode! This limited-time Halloween Terror event has been a breath of fresh air, offering a fun twist on the usual gameplay. The fact that they’re extending it by an extra week means I get to continue enjoying the spooky atmosphere and challenging myself with the different mutation combinations.
Due to its massive popularity among Overwatch 2 enthusiasts, the temporary Junkenstein’s Laboratory game mode is being extended for a longer period of time!
Excitedly sharing that Overwatch 2 has prolonged its spine-tingling Halloween Terror festivities, featuring the beloved Junkenstein’s Laboratory game mode. Here are the deets along with the spooktacular challenges and treats in store for us!
Overwatch 2 extends Junkenstein’s Laboratory game mode
Initially scheduled to run from October 15th to November 5th, the Junkenstein’s Laboratory game mode and other Halloween Terror features have been extended, now concluding on November 12th instead. This gives players extra time to experiment with various mutation combinations in Junkenstein’s Laboratory, take on the challenge in Wrath of the Bride, and defeat hordes of zombie omnics in Junkenstein’s Revenge.
“Just wanted to share some exciting news about Junkenstein’s Lab in Overwatch 2! It turns out that a lot of players can’t get enough, as two weeks after its launch, around 15% of our daily players are still diving into the game mode. To keep the fun going, we’ll be releasing a balance update for it tomorrow. Enjoy!
Overwatch 2 Halloween event challenges and rewards
With this extension, you now have extra time to accomplish all the Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror tasks, assuming you haven’t finished them yet. In total, there are six challenges, and the prizes consist of a generous amount of Season 13 Battle Pass XP as well as the coveted Mutated Monster player title.
