Overwatch 2 drops Radiant Angel Mercy skin and new bundles to support OWCS teams
OWCS Partner Teams receive a portion of the revenue earned by the sale of these new bundles.
The most recent Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) for the Overwatch Champion Series’ Midseason Championship has come to a close, with Team Falcons clinching the top spot and earning their place in the Midseason Championship. Prior to this competitive esports event, Blizzard Entertainment unveiled some special OWCS Partner Team packages. These new offerings also feature the coveted Radiant Angel Mercy skin.
Radiant Angel Mercy skin enters Overwatch 2
In the context of Overwatch 2’s crowdfunding effort called OWCS, you can now buy the Radiant Angel Mercy skin directly from the game shop. The cost is 3,100 Overwatch Coins, and for this price, you receive a collection of stunning extras such as the Radiant Angel Mercy name card, player icon, spray, and weapon charm. Additionally, the So Tough emote, which depicts the support hero showing off before laughing, is included in the bundle.
Here’s a breakdown of the items included in our latest OWCS crowdfunding package, which you can back between July 22 and August 26. Keep in mind that this specific offer is only valid during this time frame.
The story behind Radiant Angel Mercy
As per artist Shu Lee, the Radiant Angel Mercy design is distinctive because it expands upon TB Choi’s initial idea of Mercy as a divine guardian from another realm. In developing this skin, Lee aimed to express divinity, warmth, and strong energy by incorporating features such as Mercy’s radiant halo and eye covering.
Lee explained that the blue gems scattered across her weapon act like pathways, directing energy and healing abilities into her.
