Outnumbered stars secretly married for 3 years

After portraying characters Sue and Pete Brockman in the BBC comedy Outnumbered, they started dating off-screen, and it seems that Claire Skinner and Hugh Dennis may have quietly gotten married.

Remarkably, despite living in a £1.5 million townhouse in London, the pair skillfully maintained their marriage as a private matter for almost three years, tying the knot in the summer of 2022 away from public scrutiny.

Last month, during his recent appearance on the Lorraine show on ITV, Hugh was noticeably wearing a wedding ring on his left hand’s ring finger.

Simultaneously, during the promotion of the much-anticipated Christmas special of Outnumbered in December, Claire displayed both her engagement ring and wedding band, joining her fellow cast members Daniel Roche, Tyger Drew-Honey, Ramona Marquez, and Hugh.

According to the Mail on Sunday, the celebrities who began dating following the completion of their series back in 2017, tied the knot at a church in Westminster in June 2022.

According to reports, this romance unfolded off-screen as well. The couple captivated viewers when their relationship blossomed away from the show, maintaining secrecy about it.

‘This couple prefers a quiet lifestyle, choosing to savor their special moment privately. They’ve only shared the news with their immediate family and trusted confidants.’

In 2015, Hugh, who is now 63 years old, divorced his second spouse, Kate Abbot-Anderson, and the following year, Claire, aged 59 at that time, parted ways with her TV director husband, Charles Palmer.

Speaking in 2019 on Lorraine, Claire called her romance with Hugh a ‘lovely little life surprise’.

Additionally, she disclosed that the young actors portraying the Brockman children were in charge during filming. Claire mentioned, ‘Our roles were more about stepping back while everything revolved around them.’

In its prime, the critically acclaimed show “Outnumbered” drew a massive audience of 9.4 million viewers. Spanning over five seasons from 2007 to 2014, it also featured special Christmas episodes in 2016 and (predicted for) 2024.
