Outlander star Nell Hudson reveals childbirth left her ‘broken in two’ as she shares graphic hospital snap after welcoming a baby girl with Max King

Nell Hudson recently shared details about the challenging birth of her first child, which she had with her producer spouse, Max King.

34-year-old actress from Outlander shared an intimate photo on Instagram on Wednesday, announcing the birth of her daughter. She expressed a unique feeling of affection towards her child by asking for a fresh term to express this extraordinary love.

Although the journey wasn’t entirely easy for the celebrity, she confessed that childbirth left her feeling shattered, describing herself as being “split in half.” She also posted a picture showing a blood-stained hospital bed.

It’s astonishing that everyone was born from a woman, yet we all seem to accept this as an ordinary part of life.

The couple was taken aback when they learned that Nell was pregnant, as she had earlier disclosed that her wedding date with Max coincided with her due date.

In an interview with Wedding Edition recently, Nell shared that a remarkable event, which she referred to as ‘divine intervention’, took place after the couple had finalized July 26 as their wedding date.

As an over-the-moon fanatic, let me share my heartwarming story: In November, I found myself pregnant to my now-husband Max, which took me by surprise but filled me with immense joy! With our hands clasped tightly, we attended our inaugural prenatal appointment, our nerves palpable as the midwife determined how far along I was in weeks.

She announced, glancing at her computer screen, “Your due date is on Saturday, the 26th of July.” This news brought laughter. Clearly, our wedding plans would need adjusting.

Ultimately, everything worked out for the best, and we opted for a more intimate, family-focused event instead of the grand celebrations we initially intended.

In the end, it turned out to be a blessing, leading us to choose a smaller, family-centric celebration rather than the large gatherings we had originally planned.

Last month, the producer Max (Larry King’s brother) got married to Nell in a private family event, which was attended only by close relatives.

The actress from Worcestershire donned a white gown featuring ruffles and airy tulle sleeves, along with a voluminous, tiered A-line skirt that added a sense of drama to her attire.

With one hand resting gently on her bump, the bride looked every inch the glowing mum-to-be.

Her husband, Max, stood proudly beside her in a classic black double-breasted suit and silver tie.

She shared snaps on Instagram, captioned: ‘First little look at some wedding pics ❤️.

‘What can I say that hasn’t ever been said it really was the best day ever. More to come soon.’

Last year, during our dreamy escape to the city of love, Paris, my heart skipped a beat when my beloved and I were officially engaged! A cherished snapshot captured us beaming in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower – a moment I’ll forever treasure as a testament to our unbreakable bond.

In the previous month’s write-up, she acknowledged her styling crew. Makeup was skillfully done by Devon Windsor (@devonmakeupgirl), while her new brother-in-law took care of the hairdo, using high-end clip-in extensions from Tatiana Karelina.

Nell, known for her role as Laoghaire MacKenzie on the popular Starz show Outlander, has also made appearances in ITV’s Victoria and Channel 4’s The Irregulars. (Paraphrased)
