Outlander season 7 episode 11 preview: Jamie isn’t really dead, right?

As a long-time devotee of the Outlander series, I must say that last week’s heart-wrenching episode left me reeling like never before. The death of Jamie? Oh, come on! I know they can’t keep him down for long; he’s just too beloved by the fans and the cast alike. But Claire is in a world of trouble, and it seems she needs Lord John’s help to get out of it.

In the latest episode of Outlander season 7, they skillfully tugged at our heartstrings, leaving us reeling and struggling for composure. It seems undeniable that Jamie isn’t truly gone, but for Claire, his death is a harsh reality she must confront. And it appears her predicament demands the assistance of Lord John, which we’ll witness unfold in this week’s installment.

What to expect from Outlander season 7 episode 11

It’s clear that Claire is mourning, convinced as she is that Jamie is no more. Unfortunately, it appears the separation between Sam Heughan’s character and Caitríona Balfe’s in Outlander season 7 part 2 may be a reality. However, we are aware that they will eventually reunite, suggesting this must be some sort of misconception.

Since Jamie appears in promotional photos for later episodes in the season, and the actor playing him continues throughout the season and the finale (season 8), we can anticipate what happens next by checking out the official synopsis and preview video. Here they are:

Claire seeks solace from John Grey amidst troubling news, while Ian and Rachel ponder their love and plans for the future. Meanwhile, Brianna faces off against an unwelcome guest at Lallybroch.

It seems that “Claire turns to John Grey for comfort” means that in a situation of distress, Claire seeks solace from John Grey. Since both Jamie and Claire appear to have feelings for John, it’s likely that they can provide mutual support during tough times. However, the phrase may sound uncomfortable because of the potential implications of emotional closeness between them.

I adore the charming duo, Young Ian and Rachel. It’s delightful to see them thriving, and now we’re resuming Brianna’s narrative! After a while without it in the historical drama, I’m eager to discover where her tale takes us next.

Given the revelation that Roger seems to have landed in the wrong era, it’s intriguing to speculate if he could eventually meet up with his long-lost father, who might be a time-traveler himself.
