In the U.S., the first season of the prequel series is scheduled for release on Starz on August 8. The next day, it will debut in the UK.

Viewers can look forward to more episodes since the series has already been given the green light for a second season even before its first season premiere, and filming is currently taking place in Scotland (as reported by Variety)).
Regarding the announcement for season two, showrunner and executive producer Matthew B. Roberts expressed his excitement, stating: “The passion and skill our cast and crew have infused into ‘Outlander: Blood of My Blood’ has been truly remarkable. We can’t wait to delve deeper into these captivating love stories in the next season.
In the same way that Jamie and Claire captured people’s hearts, we expect these fresh pairs of characters to win over viewers when they are introduced this coming summer.
The television series Blood of My Blood explores the romantic relationships between Jamie’s folks, Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy), and Claire’s parents Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine). In simpler terms, it depicts the love stories of Jamie’s and Claire’s respective families.
In a nutshell, this narrative spans from the battlegrounds of World War I to the wild Scottish Highlands during the 18th century. Two destined pairs find themselves in situations where they need to resist forces that want to separate them, with the story taking unexpected and unanticipated turns along the way.
In addition to our leading actors, we also have stars like Tony Curran, Séamus McLean Ross, Rory Alexander, Conor MacNeill, and Sam Retford completing the ensemble cast.
Kathryn Busby, head of programming at Starz, stated: “The world of ‘Outlander’ has mesmerized viewers through its epic storytelling and remarkable characters. In ‘Blood of My Blood’, we’ve grown this universe in a manner that respects the source material, while also exploring uncharted territories boldly.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that my favorite show, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, is set to premiere in the US on Starz, starting from 8th August. The episodes will be released weekly. For my friends across the pond in the UK, don’t worry, you won’t miss out! The series will air on MGM+ a day later, on 9th August. Can’t wait to dive back into this captivating world!
