Outer Banks star’s new movie confirms Netflix release date
As a fan who’s lived through the golden age of Y2K and the modern-day resurgence of teen dramas, I can hardly contain my excitement for Netflix’s upcoming horror flick, “Time Cut.” The fact that it stars two of my current favorite actresses – Madison Bailey from “Outer Banks” and Antonia Gentry from “Ginny and Georgia” – just seals the deal.
The upcoming Netflix horror series for teens titled “Time Cut” featuring stars from “Outer Banks,” specifically Madison Bailey, and Antonia Gentry from “Ginny and Georgia”, has finally been given a scheduled launch date.
The movie is set to debut on our streaming platform on October 30th, making it perfect for Halloween viewing.
As a time-traveling gamer, I find myself stepping into the shoes of Lucy Field, a brilliant high school science whiz. In this thrilling adventure called “Time Cut”, I’m off on a mission to journey back to the early 2000s. The goal? To prevent the murder of my older sister, Gentry, who was taken from us too soon.
In addition to the main characters, we also have Michael Shanks from “Virgin River,” Griffin Gluck, Rachael Crawford, Jordan Pettle, Megan Best, Samuel Braun, Sydney Sabiston, and Kataem O’Connor joining the cast.
The film “Time Cut” is helmed by director Hannah Macpherson, known for her work on “Into the Dark” and “Trinkets”. The screenplay for this movie was penned by Sono Patel, who has worked on “The Marvelous Mrs Maisel”, and Michael Kennedy, a writer from “Freaky”.
The initial portion of ‘Outer Banks’ fourth season will start streaming on Netflix from October 10.
In the forthcoming episodes, Bailey returns to play the character Kiara, joined by Chase Stokes portraying John B, Madelyn Cline as Sarah, Jonathan Daviss in the role of Pope, and Rudy Pankow as JJ.
This season, The Pogues will have some fresh additions to the lineup, such as Pollyanna McIntosh from “The Walking Dead,” Rigo Sanchez from “Station 19,” J Anthony Crane from “Dead Ringers,” Brianna Brown from “Dynasty,” and Mia Challis from “FBI: International.”
Production for the third season of “Ginny & Georgia” started in late April 2024, hinting at a possible release in the year 2025.
According to Netflix’s official X/Twitter account, they shared photos of the cast, including Gentry, during a table read, announcing: “And we’re off! Production on Ginny and Georgia season 3 has begun! How delightful!”
Time Cut premieres on Netflix on October 30.
