How many episodes are in Outer Banks season 4 part 2?
Once again, similar to part 1, Outer Banks season 4 part 2 comprises of five episodes. Netflix divided the season neatly into two halves.
Thus far, every season of Outer Banks comprises ten episodes, and I find this ideal. Neither do I feel any season is overly lengthy or concise; instead, each one seems to strike a perfect balance. This demonstrates the skillful work of Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, Shannon Burke, and their fellow writers and creative team.

Outer Banks season 4 part 2 trailer
As a devoted fan, I’ve been granted an exclusive sneak peek into the next half of Outer Banks‘ fourth season! Netflix has graciously unveiled three extended glimpses: a tantalizing teaser, a thrilling trailer, and even the opening eight minutes of episode 6. Wow, I can’t wait to dive back into the action!
Immediately following the finale of “Outer Banks” season 4 episode 5, titled “Albatross,” a preview was unveiled. This sneak peek depicted JJ causing chaos around town and later, the Pogues embarking on an adventure to Morocco in upcoming episodes. Although brief, it provided an exciting glimpse of what to expect in the remaining five episodes.
At Poguelandia, a unique musical gathering held on November 2nd, Netflix unveiled a more extensive sneak peek into the upcoming chapters of “Outer Banks”. The trailer for season 4 part 2 was presented at this event.
The main focus of the trailer is on the Pogues embarking on a journey to Morocco, as suggested by Chandler Groff (J. Anthony Crane) in the preview. In the story, we witness the Pogues, including Rafe, boarding a ship that seems to be crossing the Atlantic. Upon arrival, they engage in fierce confrontations with the Lupine Corairs, a group of mercenaries who are attempting to seize the Blue Crown.
It’s intriguing to see that Rafe has joined The Pogues for their recent endeavor; however, judging from the trailer, it appears he might merely be serving as their boatman across the sea, at least for now.
In addition, we caught a glimpse of the Pogues interacting with what seems like the town council, as suggested by the sixth episode’s title. You might recall there was a dispute over rezoning their property. It appears the Kooks have somehow orchestrated a plot to seize the Pogues’ new venture from them. We’re not sure how they could manage it, but in the trailer, Kiara is heard shouting, “This is theft!” in a courtroom setting.
To wrap things up, Tudum revealed a sneak peek of the early scenes from Outer Banks season 4 part 2. In the preview, Luke confides in JJ about his past involvement with him. A flashback ensues, showing baby JJ, and the cunning Chandler Groff asked Luke to look after JJ before Larissa’s demise. Following Larissa’s death, it was announced that JJ had drowned alongside her, but for some unknown reason, Groff convinced Luke to adopt JJ and shield him from the Genrettes. Although we don’t fully grasp the motive, Luke agrees to take care of the baby and accepts Groff’s money.
So, that’s how JJ was raised, in the dark about who his real parents are.
What to expect in Outer Banks season 4 part 2
It appears we’re starting to uncover some key points from the narrative we’ve observed up until now! The character JJ seems set on unfolding more details about his true origins, a plotline that has been carefully constructed throughout this season. Given its significance, I expect this revelation will have a significant impact on the remaining five episodes of the series. While it’s unclear where or what these developments might be exactly, it certainly feels like something major is brewing in this story arc.
In the third season of Outer Banks, we sadly witnessed the demise of two father figures. As the final episodes of season 4 approach, could another character meet a similar fate? Only time will tell.
Above all, the journey persists! Having departed from the Outer Banks in the previous two seasons, the Pogues are embarking on a new journey to another continent (Africa) in part 2 of Outer Banks season 4. We’ve long suspected that this is where their story would lead, ever since filming began, and it will be captivating to watch how the Pogues navigate through these new adventures!
In the latest adventure, I find myself once more confronting the formidable Lupine Corsairs – their firepower is unmatched, and they seem to have a crystal-clear objective in mind. Interestingly, Captain John B. and his team from the Outer Banks had already found the map’s location during season 4 part 1. Sadly, my comrades and I were left spinning our wheels, trying to decipher what exactly we were searching for.
On this occasion, it appears that the quest for hunting or hidden treasures isn’t the primary focus. Instead, it seems that the Pogues are driven by a desire for revenge. The specific reason behind their anger remains unclear, but the trailer concludes with John B hinting ominously, “We will retaliate.
I’m absolutely thrilled to discover how this season concludes! The build-up for an exciting second half is palpable, and there are numerous unresolved plot threads, particularly concerning Rafe’s storyline. We’re left guessing about Groff and Hollis Robinson’s intentions, but I can’t wait to uncover the answers.
