Viewers loved the recent Christmas special of Our Yorkshire Farm. Called Christmas in the Dales, the episode followed Reuben Owen and his team as they worked to renovate a stone barn for his girlfriend Jess’s family. It aired last night.
Jess and her father currently run the farm, which has been in their family for generations. It was previously owned by Jess’s Nana Diane, who always hoped to fix up the old barn.
She asked Reuben to install traditional flagstones, and as payment, he was allowed to hold his work Christmas party at the location.

People shared their positive reactions to the show, with one saying they really enjoyed it and appreciated seeing everyone together for Christmas. Earlier this year, Reuben Owen shared details about his parents, Amanda and Clive Owen, separating in 2022, explaining that the split was friendly and without conflict.
He told The Daily Telegraph that the media continues to focus on his parents’ divorce, portraying it as a huge conflict when it wasn’t.

I understand what happened, and it was a very friendly separation. They simply drifted apart over time, but they remain wonderful parents, and that hasn’t changed even though they’re no longer a couple.
It’s not uncommon to see minor issues become major news stories. However, if you choose to be in the public eye, you have to accept that people will also be curious about your personal life.
