As a seasoned observer of the glamorous world of entertainment, I must say that Oti Mabuse’s journey is truly inspiring. Her resilience and determination are evident in every step she takes, from her multiple wins on Strictly Come Dancing to her recent foray into presenting roles.

On Tuesday, Oti Mabuse’s spouse, Marius Lapure, along with their 13-month-old daughter and her mother, Dudu Mabuse, touched down in Australia. This was in preparation for the forthcoming I’m A Celebrity elimination rounds, scheduled to take place towards the end of the week.

After Oti justified her choice to depart for the Jungle while still a new mother by saying, “My mom has ambitions as well; she won’t recall it, it’s only a few days.” Her family arrived later, following this explanation.

For the past fortnight, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the previous Strictly Come Dancing professional, aged 36, at Brisbane Airport. Now, as we wrap up our ITV show commitments, my companions and I have journeyed to Australia to offer a warm welcome to her upon her departure, meeting her off the bridge.

Overflowing with joy, I found myself beaming ear-to-ear, embracing Oti’s cherished mom, Dudu, while cradling their precious daughter securely in a sling, as we gracefully navigated our journey through the bustling airport together.

He cut a casual figure in black tracksuit bottoms and a gilet while the couple’s daughter was dressed in an adorable pink all in one.

Oti hasn’t participated in a Bushtucker trial on the ITV show as of now, and he mentioned that it might be beneficial for her since she hasn’t received too much screen time.

Addressing TopMob in Australia, he expressed his viewpoint: ‘I believe she is well-equipped now. Overextending oneself isn’t advisable. It seems more important to focus on the collective, as each member faces unique circumstances and hurdles.’

Marius mentioned that he had consistently voted for his spouse, but he was eagerly anticipating seeing her after crossing the bridge, much like a baby who is impatient.

For quite some time now, we’ve had many discussions about it. As a skilled dancer, he spoke about his feelings when Oti decided to enter the Jungle and left him in charge of their daughter.

She frequently expressed her desire to do it, and that’s why I work with children. Since we run a dance studio, I am accustomed to taking care of them. Moreover, she benefits greatly from her family’s assistance, as well as the help provided by my own parents.

The father-of-one said it had been ‘so nice looking after the little one’ and revealed: ‘She’s been sleeping so well, we actually couldn’t get out of the plane because she was still sleeping. [They took about an hour to come off the plane].’

In an update on her Instagram earlier this year, the “Dancing on Ice” judge noted that Oti’s mother, Dudu, has played a crucial role in caring for their newborn.

As a devoted follower, I couldn’t navigate through this journey without her. We may squabble and share laughter, but she prepares meals, keeps the house tidy, washes clothes, and lends a hand in caring for our baby when we both work. Sometimes, she overlooks that this bundle of joy is ours, not hers alone. Yet, she embodies the essence of a super mom, and I aspire to become a mere fragment of the mother she has become.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d express it like this: “After setting sail on an exciting new opportunity Down Under, I found myself justifying my choice to my little one: ‘Remember, sweetheart, mom has dreams and ambitions too.’

13 months have passed since her only child, who was born prematurely at 28 weeks, experienced a traumatic birth. As a result, she needed to stay in the Intensive Care Unit for six weeks following the delivery.

The skilled dancer added: ‘It seems heartwarming to me that she understands her daughter values her devotion and love, yet still pursues her own dreams.’

As a devoted follower, let me express my thoughts: Just like Mum, us mothers have aspirations too, and I believe it’s something we can all take pride in – the fact that while pursuing our dreams and finding joy in what we do, we continue to be extraordinary human beings.

When she becomes an adult, she might look me up online using Google, and chances are, she’ll find what I did and think, “Yep, my mom did something like that.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “I’ve got some intriguing insider news! Motsi Mabuse, the esteemed judge on Strictly Come Dancing, happens to be my sister. She’s South African royalty in the dance world, and now, here’s a personal tidbit – she’s shared that ITV has asked her to join the show no less than six times! This year, however, she’s decided to accept their invitation, all because her daughter is approaching an age where leaving her behind becomes more challenging. Isn’t it fascinating how family commitments shape our decisions?

She expressed that it’s unlikely she’ll repeat the action, as she won’t have another chance to do it. She harbors a desire to expand her family and engage in different activities. This was the perfect time for her to act, and it simply felt appropriate.

As an utterly smitten fan, I can’t help but marvel at the extraordinary achievement of Oti Mabuse! She’s the one and only professional dancer to have clinched the title of Strictly Come Dancing two consecutive years – a feat that left me in absolute awe! She danced her way to victory in 2019, partnering with soap star Kelvin Fletcher, and then again in 2020, teaming up with the hilarious Bill Bailey. Simply put, Oti Mabuse is the epitome of grace, talent, and unparalleled dancing skills!

For seven years, Oti was a part of the BBC’s flagship show. In 2022, however, she decided to leave due to her desire for additional hosting opportunities. Simultaneously, she disclosed some challenges she faced while working on Strictly Come Dancing.

In appreciation for his unwavering support during her time on the show, Oti acknowledged the experiences they had shared, stating: ‘He’s witnessed me not eating, he’s witnessed me eating too much, and he’s been there as I navigated intriguing personalities.’

Initially, I felt as though I had reached the end, but then he pointed out that perhaps there was a fresh idea simmering within me. He noticed that when I’m emceeing or interacting with others, I transform into an entirely distinct individual.

After leaving her previous association, Oti has now aligned herself with ITV. Notably, she has joined their judging panels for hit shows like Dancing on Ice and The Masked Singer.
