Oti Mabuse recently showed off her impressive dance moves from Strictly Come Dancing while on vacation with her husband Marius Lepure, demonstrating that she hasn’t lost her rhythm even during downtime.
The ex-judge from Dancing On Ice, aged 34, displayed her remarkable physique in beach attire while swaying her hips and dancing rhythmically to the music.
It appears that Oti is enjoying some quality time away with her unnamed baby daughter and her husband, who is 41 years old, and it seems like they are all having a delightful vacation together.
The dancer, proficient in her craft, donned a two-piece swimsuit with stripes and a short black skirt, opting for a natural look without makeup. Her hair was neatly braided, pulled back to keep it off her face during the performance.
Oti joined Strictly in 2015 and won the show twice before stepping down in 2022.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can empathize with Oti, who bravely shared her personal struggle earlier this year. She revealed that her years as a professional dancer led to a toxic relationship with her body image. This experience resonates with me, as many people often find themselves struggling with self-perception and the pressures of societal expectations.

Oti admitted it has been a ‘continuing journey’ to rebuild a healthy relationship with body.
Otis explained that a portion of the journey involves acknowledging that she no longer possesses the physique of a dancer, following various challenges and giving birth to her precious little girl.
In an interview with Prima magazine, Oti opened up about her battles with body image, her transition into motherhood, and potential plans for a comeback on Strictly Come Dancing.
Speaking about her childhood reflections on her body image, Oti shared: ‘As a child, I often assumed that those who excelled (in dancing) were the slimmest, and one couldn’t help but think, “To be successful, I need to resemble them.” It seems this belief isn’t confined to Latin and ballroom dancers; it’s widespread.’
In simpler terms, all dancers often experience a strained body image perception. This leads to an unhealthy dynamic between us and our physical selves. Upon encountering someone who has lost weight, we might express surprise or admiration with statements like, “Wow, she looks fantastic!
The question might be rephrased as: “Is my attractiveness due to my petite size, or am I generally appealing? After all, words can carry significant influence for many women. This is an ongoing process of restoring our connection with them.
It seems likely that I will consistently focus on improving my relationship for the remainder of my life. Through open discussions, I hope to foster a healthier approach to this connection, emphasizing the importance of nurturing our relationship with our bodies.
Despite her past challenges, Oti expressed that she has achieved inner tranquility with her body. She told the magazine, “I am stepping into existence as a human being who once danced, not just as a dancer. I continue to dance, but I am a person first, before being identified as a dancer.

She went on to say: ‘My body has seen its share of fluctuations; putting on weight, taking it off, giving birth. It’s been quite a ride, and I believe it’s typical for women to go through such changes. Of course, there are instances where I feel, “Wow, I’m not content with how I appear…”
This version maintains the original meaning while using more common and varied sentence structures to create a natural, easy-to-read flow of language.
Afterward, I find myself reminding myself in the mirror, “No, you are wonderful. You are flawless. You’ve given birth, a human being has emerged from you. It’s alright if you’re not picture-perfect, as long as you’re active and making efforts towards good health.
During her tenure on Strictly Come Dancing, Oti achieved tremendous success, culminating in her being crowned a two-time champion. This was the result of back-to-back victories she shared with Kelvin Fletcher and Bill Bailey.
Looking back at my Strictly experience, it was nothing short of extraordinary spanning over seven years. Remarkably, I continue to be involved with the show, creating choreography and keeping in touch with the producers.
I believe that the show significantly contributed to where I am now, as well as maintaining my ongoing relationship with it. It had its highs and lows, especially considering that I was a pioneer in my field, so there were certainly challenges along the way.
Or:
The show played a crucial role in shaping my current state and sustaining our connection. There were moments of triumph and disappointment; navigating as the first Black individual in such roles often presented unique highs and lows.

She admitted that people often ask her if she might reappear on the program, and she hinted that it could be a situation where ‘it’s not a no.’
She shared that often people inquire about her potentially going back to Strictly. At present, considering her daughter and current activities, she finds herself quite occupied but content with her current situation. However, she emphasized that the possibility remains uncertain, as she never rules out anything. The invitation is always there, which is indeed a very pleasant situation.
Aljaž [Škorjanec] returned, and he’s thriving impressively. Upon my return for choreography, he’s in an entirely new realm. He’s simply extraordinary. Therefore, one can never predict his progress.
In November 2023, Oti welcomed a child with her professional dancer husband Marius. The baby’s name remains undisclosed at this time.
