As a lifestyle expert, I must say this year’s awards show is presenting quite a dynamic landscape, particularly in some of the marquee categories such as Best Picture and the majority of the Acting categories. It seems we’re in for an exciting ride!

This year, Emilia Pérez heads the list of nominees, boasting a total of 13 nods across various categories such as Best Picture, Best Actress for Karla Sofía Gascón, Best Supporting Actress for Zoe Saldaña, Best Director for Jacques Audiard, Adapted Screenplay, and Original Song.

The main role is played by Gascón, portraying a character once known as a Mexican drug lord. Now, she transitions into a woman and stages her own death, with the intention of reemerging as a positive influence on society. Saldaña takes on the part of a lawyer who, despite questionable ethics, assists in creating Gascón’s new identity.

In the end, The Brutalist secured the runner-up position with a total of 10 nominations across various categories. It was recognized in several prestigious areas such as Best Picture, Best Director (Brady Corbet), Best Actor (Adrien Brody), Best Supporting Actor (Guy Pearce), Best Supporting Actress (Felicity Jones), and Original Screenplay.

In this rephrased version, Brody portrays a Hungarian architect named László Tóth, who is Jewish and manages to immigrate to America after living through the Holocaust. The grand historical drama narrates László’s struggle to bring his artistic ideas to life, despite facing obstacles from his affluent patron (Pearce), whose selfish desires often clash with László’s ambitions.
