Irons will play the role of the film’s second villain, the head of The Watchers, a clandestine group responsible for monitoring immortals. The Watchers also believe that immortals pose a danger to humankind.
Highlander is being written by Michel Finch. Scott Stuber and Nick Nesbitt are producing the film through United Arts, alongside Neal H. Moritz, Chad Stahelski’s 87Eleven Entertainment, Josh Davis from Davis Panzer Productions, and Louise Rosner.
