A week ago, Orlando hinted at potentially reuniting the crew for another Pirates of the Caribbean film during an appearance on This Morning.

Eight years have passed since the release of the latest Pirates of the Caribbean film, which came out in 2017 titled “Dead Men Tell No Tales”.

Orlando became well-known for his role as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings series, and swiftly used this success to land the part of Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

Ever since Dead Men Tell No Tales was released, discussions have arisen about a potential sixth movie. A report from April hints that the upcoming film might undergo a reboot, potentially excluding Johnny Depp’s character Captain Jack Sparrow.

Although Disney hasn’t officially announced a sixth Pirates movie, producer Jerry Bruckheimer suggested last year that two distinct Pirates films might be in development, one featuring Johnny Depp and another possibly not.

During a chat about their latest movie “Deep Cover,” featuring Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Mohammed, they were curious about any plans for the series’ continuation.

At this point, I’m unable to make any comments because I simply don’t have the information. However, I can assure you that there is definitely something regarding availability.” And when asked about whether he was referring to ‘availability,’ he confirmed it by saying “Nothing of that sort.

It seems to me that they’re figuring out how everything will unfold, and on a personal note, I believe it would be fantastic if we could reunite the band again.

Orlando shared, “I’d love that, but since opinions vary, let’s wait and see what develops.”

Here’s another way:
Orlando expressed, “That sounds wonderful, but given the diversity of thoughts, we’ll have to observe where it goes.”

Lastly:
Orlando suggested, “I’m all for that, but considering the range of suggestions, we’ll need to wait and find out the outcome.

Orlando continues to cherish the franchise, as evidenced by his response to Keira Knightley’s recent remarks regarding the movies.

In November, she informed The Times that being part of the Pirates of the Caribbean series was both rewarding and challenging for her at the same time.

Keira explained, “Despite being judged poorly due to their influence, it was because of their success that I was granted the chance to star in movies which eventually earned me Oscar nominations.

She mentioned that those movies were the most remarkable ones she’d ever be involved with, and they were the cause of her being criticized openly. As a result, they occupy a rather complex space in my mind.

Orlando reflected in Entertainment Weekly, saying, “It seems as if it was an incredibly significant point in history – almost as though it happened in a different era altogether now.

The actor agreed with Keira’s perspective and admired her work, stating, ‘I have many great insights from this encounter.’

The popular Pirates of the Caribbean film series, originally inspired by a similar attraction at Disney theme parks, has earned an impressive global revenue of approximately $4.5 billion.

Notably, it was this film series that produced the unique occurrence of two individual movies surpassing the $1 billion mark in box office revenue: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest ($1.1 billion) and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides ($1.046 billion).

As a devoted fan, I’ve missed seeing Johnny Depp on our screens over the last few years following his court cases with Amber Heard. It’s intriguing to contemplate whether he might reprise his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow in another Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
