Orlando Bloom dishes on what he wants in a ‘partner’ as he moves on amid ex Katy Perry’s Justin Trudeau romance

Orlando Bloom shared a new video over the weekend showing what he looks for in a relationship.

On Saturday, 48-year-old actor Johnny Depp, known for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean, was spotted in a relaxed outfit while speaking with the TikTok account The People Gallery.

In the video, Orlando stated he’s looking for a partner who is both fashionable and financially able to keep up with his expensive tastes.

He shared some insights into what he looks for in a partner, especially as his former fiancée, Katy Perry, is reportedly becoming romantically involved with Canada’s Justin Trudeau.

During a recent interview filmed on the streets of New York City, Orlando was asked whether he’d prefer a partner who was fashionable or wealthy.

‘Both,’ he replied instantly before breaking into a laugh.

‘You have to pick one of those?’ he added with mock incredulity.

Orlando also shared some advice for viewers who were in the midst of a ‘hard time.

He encouraged them to simply start doing something – establish a routine, move their bodies, and focus on action rather than overthinking. His advice was to keep creating, whatever that looks like.

Orlando, finding the East Coast weather cold, was wearing a comfortable outfit that included a tan barn jacket with a dark brown leather collar, a cream cable-knit sweater, dark corduroy pants, and a baseball cap.

The actor, when asked about his clothes, shyly described his style as ‘cozy Christmas comfort’.

‘OK, Prada!’ the interviewer suggested as both laughed. 

You know, when someone asked Orlando how to develop a good style, his advice really resonated with me. He basically said to just be yourself! He believes – and I totally agree – that being authentic is what truly makes a lasting impression. It’s not about following trends, it’s about being genuine, and that’s the best style advice I’ve ever heard.

He also suggested that thrift stores were a great source of interesting looks at the moment.

Orlando chuckled, saying, ‘It’s ridiculous – it looks like something you’d find at a thrift store, but it’s actually Prada!’ He threw his head back while laughing.

The actor had a hectic day of traveling, and was photographed in Los Angeles later that evening at an awards event for Apple’s F1 movie. He was even wearing the same clothes seen in the film’s video.

The event included appearances by legendary film producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who made the movie, and Damson Idris, who acted alongside Brad Pitt in the Formula One racing film.
