Original Writer Reveals Shocking Way to Revive Mission: Impossible Franchise After Final Film!

1996 marked the debut of the franchise, with Tom Cruise portraying a member of the Impossible Mission Force. Spanning over eight movies, the latest release, rumored to be the concluding chapter, has been unveiled.

Previously boasting record-breaking sequences, breathtaking feats, and seemingly impossible missions, the franchise has hinted at concluding with “The Final Reckoning”. However, original screenwriter David Koepp suggests that there might be more to the story. He revealed his concept for continuing the franchise and even offered to pen it himself.

With The Final Reckoning supposed to be the last installment, Tom Cruise and the entire team aimed to deliver the grandest spectacle ever. This new film boasts even more heart-stopping stunts, such as one where Cruise broke a record by holding his breath underwater. Remarkably, he performed this feat 16 times by leaping out of a helicopter!

Despite the movie being extremely engaging for viewers, it had a hefty price tag. In fact, it’s one of the costliest productions ever made, with an initial budget of $400 million not even including marketing and distribution expenses. To turn a profit, the action film would need to earn over $1 billion. The Final Reckoning, which debuted on May 23, has done well so far, raking in $562.8 million, but it seems that relying on streaming revenue might be necessary for the movie to break even.
