DW Studio recently revealed their new game, Order of Kings, a 4X real-time strategy title. You can sign up to pre-register for the game starting January 9th on Android, iOS, and PC, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Get ready to outsmart your enemies with real-time troop control and tactics

Order of Kings is a strategy game with a unique 3D battlefield that feels different from other popular games in the genre, like Rise of Kingdoms, Lords Mobile, and Age of Empires: Mobile.

Take full control of your army, using each unit’s unique strengths and attack distances to defeat opponents and capture territory with your allies.

What I especially appreciate about this game is that it moves away from the stat-heavy systems common in strategy games. Instead, you win through skillful, real-time tactics – there are no automatic battles. The 3D terrain also makes gameplay more interesting, letting you use features like forests for cover or higher ground for a defensive advantage, which I think will be really enjoyable.

This part is especially tricky because units can actually crash into each other, so where you place your troops to capture key areas and control movement is really important. Plus, each Commander has special abilities that can dramatically change how the battle unfolds, adding another layer of strategy.

This game looks like a lot of fun and will really challenge our strategic thinking. I’m excited to try it out! It has a lot of promising features like fast-paced battles, a strong strategy system, sieges, realistic unit movement, and the ability to form alliances. Plus, it’s great that there are no pay-to-win elements or long waits for upgrades.
