With this victory, OpTic Texas concluded their Call of Duty League season in triumph, claiming their first world title since 2017.

Prior to the start of the games, the last OpTic team that won the World Championship, featuring Seth “Scump” Abner, Ian “Crimsix” Porter, Matthew “FormaL” Piper, and Damon “Karma” Barlow, made an appearance before the current roster. This symbolic gesture set the tone as OpTic Texas took control of the competition.
During the Grand Finals, the Subliners managed to secure only one map victory. On the other hand, OpTic dominated with impressive wins in maps one, two, four, five, and six. The final showdown took place on Invasion’s Control map, an unremarkable choice for excitement but an exception in this case.
In statistical terms, newcomers Pred and Kenny from MW3 stood out with a K/D ratio of 1.10 and 1.07 respectively. The competition was heavily dominated by OpTic Texas, resulting in their triumph at COD Champs 2024.
