Oppidum is a Co-Op Survival Adventure With ‘Seamless’ Cross-Play Launching for Xbox This Month

Game developer EP Games has shared that their cooperative survival adventure game titled “Oppidum” is set to release this month, featuring smooth cross-platform playability among all participants (up to 4 players).

On the magical island of Insule, you’ll find yourself working together with companions to establish a flourishing settlement called Oppidum. This involves scavenging resources, fabricating necessary items, and battling against a perplexing corruption that has taken over the island.

Additionally, you have the option to play independently, tackling different game modes such as the relaxing ‘No Death’ mode, the ‘Reduced Damage’ mode where enemies inflict less harm, the standard ‘As Intended’ mode, and the more challenging ‘Hardcore’ difficulty level.

In this game, you have the freedom to design your unique character, from their hairstyle and body shape to their voice and facial features. Accessibility features are also available, such as no need for button-holding, customizable visibility for quest trackers, adjustable durability settings for items like tools, weapons, and armor, and many more options.

Explore a vibrant island world with the charming character Kay as your guide when Oppidum debuts on April 23rd for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will retail at $29.99.
