Iris Hsieh, a model known for her work on OnlyFans, was found dead in a Kuala Lumpur hotel bathtub on October 22nd at 1:44 PM. Initially considered a sudden death, Malaysian authorities have now classified the case as a murder investigation.
The 31-year-old woman from Taiwan, nicknamed ‘Nurse Goddess’ because she used to be a nursing student, had a large online following of 2 million people. She earned $40 a month through subscriptions on an adult content platform owned by Fenix International.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! Iris – Hsieh Yu-hsin, that’s her real name, by the way – landed in Malaysia on October 20th! I heard she’s here for four days and she’s actually meeting with Namewee at a hotel on Jalan Conlay! They’re working on a video together, can you even imagine?! I’m seriously freaking out right now – a collaboration between them?! It’s a dream come true!
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus told the BBC that a 42-year-old Malaysian citizen was arrested on the same day after police found what they believe were MDMA pills. The arrest was made on drug possession charges.

Wee Meng Chee, known as Namewee, tested positive for several drugs including amphetamines, methamphetamine, ketamine, and THC. He faces up to five years in prison and caning if convicted on December 18th.
On Sunday, the rapper known as Fragile used Instagram to say the drug charges against him aren’t true and shared his sadness about Hsieh’s passing. He mentioned it took almost an hour for the ambulance to get there.
Namewee has been released on bail, but police are now looking for him because the case has been upgraded to a murder investigation and he couldn’t be found.
According to the New Straits Times, Marsus stated in a press conference that investigators currently consider the last person known to be with the victim a person of interest in the case.
We’re bringing him in to help with the investigation. Based on what we learn, we’ll determine if he’s a suspect.
Kuala Lumpur police are investigating the victim’s travel details, including where they stayed, security camera recordings, and how they got around.

Datuk added that the team had gathered information from hotel employees, security staff, and those involved in transportation, including people at the airport.
The investigation is a thorough review of the victim’s and the last person seen with her’s whereabouts and actions.
This is a complicated investigation, but we’re committed to finding out what really happened. If you have any information that could help, please contact the police.
