OnlyFans Is Safer Than Hollyoaks
Sarah Jayne Dunn asserts that using OnlyFans is a relatively safer option compared to her stint on Hollyoaks, following her dismissal from the Channel 4 soap three years ago due to some provocative images she shared.
For over two decades, the actress who portrayed Mandy Richards revealed that she has regained a sense of control in her life, having once been a target of a harrowing stalking incident where she was inundated with unsettling messages. Unfortunately, the show’s management were powerless to intervene.
She shared with The Sun: “OnlyFans, compared to Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms I’m active on, has proven to be a significantly safer environment for me.
I received some extremely distressing messages on Instagram via an account I used on ‘Hollyoaks’. The content was so disturbing that I felt compelled to report it to the police, but they were unable to take any action. This situation is truly alarming.
Sarah added: “I visited Hollyoaks, and they asked me to forward whatever he had sent me. After that, I reported the matter to the police, but unfortunately, they don’t have many options, and honestly, it’s quite terrifying.
As an ardent admirer, I’ll share a fascinating aspect about my favorite platform, OnlyFans. Unlike the usual social media outlets, the messages I receive here are pixelated. This novel feature gives me the power to decide if and when I want to reveal these pixels, adding a unique sense of control to my digital interactions.

Sarah criticized her superiors for “obvious hypocrisy” following instances where she felt objectified by being included in soap opera calendar photo shoots that had a sexual connotation.
Additionally, she disclosed that internet trolls aggressively labeled her as being cheap due to her decision to join OnlyFans. However, she emphasizes that if given the chance, she would have joined earlier.
In a conversation with The Sun for their Exposed YouTube segment, Sarah confided that online critics labeled her “embarrassing” due to the creation of her OnlyFans profile.
She said: ‘I’d been sexualised and been made an object of sexual desire for my entire adult life.
Learning that I couldn’t proceed according to my own plans felt particularly hurtful, as I simply couldn’t comprehend why this decision was made.
Sarah left the TV series Hollyoaks following a confidential complaint lodged by a fellow actor, leading to adjustments in the cast members’ contracts that now prohibit them from starting an OnlyFans account.
Additionally, she strongly contested the manufacturers’ assertion that the site’s explicit content was suitable for Hollyoaks’ youthful viewers.
Sarah mentioned that when she modeled for provocative calendar photos while acting on Hollyoaks, she didn’t have the ability to decide about the retouching of those pictures. Conversely, on OnlyFans, she has complete control over the photographs she shares.
Although she makes substantial income from her OnlyFans account, Sarah admitted that she has encountered criticism and even trolling from certain users. Particularly, these individuals have pointed out that she is a mother.
Upon reading through the comments, I found phrases like: ‘Her family must feel ashamed’, ‘She appears desperate’, ‘Her choices seem cheap’, ‘Those photos look awkwardly embarrassing’, and ‘It seems she’s having a mid-life crisis.’

‘Actually, that’s wrong, I do have one regret: I wish I’d started it sooner!’
Previously it was mentioned that her earnings from the platform exceeded £700,000, which is nearly six times more than what she earned during her peak years in Hollyoaks.
Sarah declined to give an explicit figure for her earnings, but she acknowledged they “surpassed all predictions” and furthermore, she suggested that her second month on the platform was more profitable than an entire year working on Hollyoaks.
She emphasized that she hasn’t changed her approach from when she was on the show, as her content mainly consists of lingerie photos and she refrains from delving into explicit or adult-oriented content.
