Only Fools and Horses legend Mickey Pearce dies aged 68

Patrick Murray, the beloved actor famous for his role in Only Fools and Horses, has sadly passed away at the age of 68 following a fight with lung cancer.

The actor was most famous for his role as Mickey Pearce, a charming rogue with a Cockney accent, in the beloved BBC comedy series.

He had fought lung cancer before and was told he was cancer-free, but a year later, the disease came back and had spread to his legs and pelvis.

In 2023, he shared that a portion of his liver had been surgically removed. Doctors had found a cancerous tumor in 2022, leading to the procedure.

He shared with his followers: ‘I’m heading home today.’ After having half of his liver and a tumor removed last week by the amazing Prof Heaton, he revealed he’d been keeping something private – doctors discovered another primary cancer last year.
