Patrick Murray, the beloved actor famous for his role in Only Fools and Horses, has sadly passed away at the age of 68 following a fight with lung cancer.
The actor was most famous for his role as Mickey Pearce, a charming rogue with a Cockney accent, in the beloved BBC comedy series.
He had fought lung cancer before and was told he was cancer-free, but a year later, the disease came back and had spread to his legs and pelvis.
In 2023, he shared that a portion of his liver had been surgically removed. Doctors had found a cancerous tumor in 2022, leading to the procedure.
He shared with his followers: ‘I’m heading home today.’ After having half of his liver and a tumor removed last week by the amazing Prof Heaton, he revealed he’d been keeping something private – doctors discovered another primary cancer last year.
