Fans of the classic British sitcom Only Fools and Horses are in for a treat! A new documentary series featuring previously unseen footage is coming out to celebrate the show’s 45th anniversary.
The new series, Only Fools and Horses: The Lost Archive, includes previously unseen footage from popular classic episodes like ‘The Jolly Boys’ Outing’ and ‘Mother Nature’s Son’.
The docuseries, consisting of two parts, is scheduled to premiere on U&GOLD in 2026, but the exact date is still to be announced.

The show will also include fresh content from classic episodes like ‘He Ain’t Heavy’, ‘He’s My Uncle’, and ‘Time on Our Hands’. Plus, fans will get a first look at a lost scene featuring Del and Rodney in a nightclub, taken from the ‘The Class of ’62’ episode.
The series will please fans with extra footage of Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees filming retakes, plus fresh interviews with cast members like Tessa Peake-Jones (Raquel), Gwyneth Strong (Cassandra), Sue Holderness (Malene Boyce), Steven Woodcock (Jevon), and Denis Lill (Alan Parry).
The series also features interviews with Mike Jones, co-author of Lovely Jubbly, Perry Aghajanoff, chairman of the Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society, editor Chris Wadsworth, and director Tony Dow.
David Jason, the star of Only Fools and Horses, shared his thoughts on the new documentary, saying he’s amazed by the enduring popularity of the show and how fondly people still remember it.
