Only 90 of You Will Get Kiko Kostadinov’s New Japanese Denim Pieces

Summary

  • Kiko Kostadinov has unveiled a new Japanese denim capsule in partnership with Konkord.
  • There are only 90 units of two silhouettes in the collection.
  • The line will be released this Friday, May 30.

Kiko Kostadinov’s upcoming Pre-Fall 2025 denim collection, produced in collaboration with Konkord Jeans by a cutting-edge denim manufacturer based in Hiroshima, Japan, will likely be one of the most challenging to obtain when it launches this Friday.

The collection features just 90 pieces in total, divided between two styles: a spacious-pocketed light brown denim flight jacket and a pair of durable carpenter jeans with all the necessary tool loops, storage spaces, and robustness for the fashion-conscious handyman.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but appreciate the exquisite “Dune Wash” finish on these garments, achieved through traditional hand-dyeing methods. This design language by Kostadinov is a unique blend of simplicity and complexity, resonating deeply with his dedicated fanbase. In essence, these pieces are like catnip for the Belgian designer’s passionate following.

Kostadinov is confident that his consumers have a taste for denim. Last year, on the brand’s runways for both men and women, he unveiled the initial pieces from an upcoming collaboration with Levi’s. The collection, which was fully launched last August, took classic Levi’s designs – like engineered jackets, structured coats, hybrid jerseys, and straight-leg jeans – and gave them a fresh twist. This was achieved through asymmetrical cuts, ballooning sleeves, cinched waists, and form-fitting silhouettes.

Without any shock, it was a massive victory; there’s no doubt that the designer’s fresh collection is bound to sell out even faster. For those eager to get their hands on it, mark your calendars: The Kostadinov Konkord Denim capsule line launches exclusively online this Friday, May 30, at 10 a.m. GMT. Subsequent releases will follow in Kostadinov’s Tokyo and Los Angeles stores on the subsequent Saturday, May 31.

If you pass on this sale, don’t worry unduly: Kostadinov is set to introduce a second “Phantom Wash” collection this summer (integrated into the campaign). For now, check out the lineup displayed in the gallery above, and may the swiftest online shoppers emerge victorious.
